Each week, I’ll be recommending a movie, t.v. show, book, or song, to help you feel inspired to travel!
This week’s travel inspiration is brought to you by the movie, Thelma and Louise (1991). Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon set out for a two-day vacation away from their homes and hubbies in Arkansas. Taking off in Louise’s ’66 Ford Thunderbird convertible, the ladies have a great time, stopping for a drink at a roadhouse. Thelma lands in a dangerous situation with a new stranger Harlan, and pretty soon the ladies are running from the law across the great American southwest. This intelligent and ambitious feminist film helps to portray a range of emotions while riding out this great adventure we call life.
I’ve attached the trailer below, but I truly recommend watching the full movie, you won’t regret it!
