This Week’s Travel Inspiration: L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. by Noah and the Whale

Each week, I’ll be recommending a movie, t.v. show, book, or song, to help you feel inspired to travel!

This week’s travel inspiration is brought to you by the song, L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. by Noah and the Whale.

Genre: Indie

Why it inspires me: I like this song because it’s a nice upbeat song that talks about following your heart.  In the lyrics “what you don’t have now will come back again” you can relate this to money and a sense of travel.  Lots of kids in the millennial generation find that they want to travel, but have backlash by family or friends telling them to save money instead.  You will always have the opportunity to work and get money, but you may not always have the opportunity to travel, so it’s important to follow your heart and go your own way.  And on you’re dying day, wouldn’t you rather lay there peacefully, knowing that you didn’t have any regrets? So go out there and follow your heart, wherever it may lead you!

Notable lyrics:

  • You’ve got more money and sense, my friend

You’ve got heart and you’re going your own way

  • L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.

What you don’t have now will come back again

You’ve got heart and you’re going your own way

  • On my last night on Earth, I won’t look to the sky

Just breathe in the air and blink in the light

On my last night on Earth, I’ll pay a high price

To have no regrets and be done with my life
