Each week, I’ll be recommending a movie, t.v. show, book, song, or quote to help you feel inspired to travel! This week’s travel inspiration is a quote from Elizabeth Gilbert, in her book Eat, Pray, Love.
“Traveling is the great true love of my life. I have always felt… that to travel is worth any cost or sacrifice. I am loyal and constant in my love for travel. I feel about travel the way a happy new mother feels about her impossible, colicky, restless newborn baby–I just don’t care what it puts me through. Because I adore it. Because it’s mine.”
I love this quote because I love travel and the person I am when I am traveling. I feel that I am so happy to be on each and every journey that I take, regardless of all that it puts me through. I have gotten lost, rained on, missed planes, trains, and automobiles, and at the end of the day, I still go to bed smiling. I adore my adventures and am so grateful to call them my own.
So, what do you think? Do you like the quote? Did it inspire you to travel and cherish your memories? Let me know in the comments below!
